The sequel to the awesome poor man's superhero flick Kick-Ass is finally gaining some momentum, and writer Mark Millar has opened up about what he has in store for part two, and beyond.
For fans of the comics, Millar told New Empress Magazine that the plan for Kick-Ass 2 shouldn't be too much of a surprise, as he prides himself on staying close to the comic canon.
"I literally just got a hard copy of the screenplay delivered this morning," he said. "What can I tell you that nobody knows? Actually, not a lot if you'd read the book, because it's a very close adaptation."
The only problem he's had? Apparently, 15-year-old Hit-Girl actress Chloe Moretz is growing too darn fast—especially considering he wants to make Kick-Ass 3 sooner rather than later.
"I can tell you that Chloe's a lot taller," he said. "Her brother's about 6'5" or something, so I'm hoping she stops growing soon, as we're planning a third one too."
Filming on Kick-Ass 2 is set to begin this summer. If it does well, God willing we'll get the Kick-Ass trilogy we've always wanted.
