Bane bare-knuckles it in new Dark Knight promo shots

[Images deleted at the request of Warner Bros.] Poised for mayhem, Bane seems set for supervillain stardom when Christopher Nolan's Bat opus ends this summer. Here's a fresh pair of mega-macho images featuring Tom Hardy's muscled maniac himself ready for Gotham City primetime.

With Venom super-serum pumping through his veins, Bane seems to be imagining snapping the Caped Crusader in two with his murderous stare alone. Hardy understands the notion of movement as character in his method acting style and will no doubt rely on a potent fear factor to match his ferocious physique. Will he pull it off and become legend ever after?
