11 real-world rock bands who've transformed into sci-fi creatures

Tonight's the season finale of Syfy's Monster Man (10/9 C), and in this episode the family of creature designers takes on rock band DEVO. DEVO is known for doing really weird stuff in the early '80s, like this Rolling Stones cover, as well as wearing hats that resemble wedding cakes made from Jell-O.

They'll be transformed into supernatural creatures worthy of rocking an arena. In honor of the conclusion to this series, we found some monsters of rock who in the past put on fully costumed shows that are out-of-this-world. (Although, we must admit, none of these costumes are as scary as The Banana Splits in concert.)
