TV THIS WEEK: Touch returns, The River sails away and more!

After teasing us with the pilot for Touch weeks ago, Fox finally premieres the series in its regular timeslot after American Idol. (Lucky show!) We'll also say goodbye to The River and Archer.

Also this week, a musical serial killer challenges the team on Alcatraz, Sally has to deal with some Reaper madness on Syfy's Being Human, Bo meets another succubus on Lost Girl, it's a ghost hunt at an abandoned girls' school on Ghost Hunters International, Clive and his team have to come up with a werewolf on Monster Man, we find out more about the killer on The Vampire Diaries, Cassie and Adam discover they are cursed on The Secret Circle, Michael runs into two very different versions of someone he knows on Awake, love takes a hit on Fringe, Misha Collins returns on Supernatural, Arthur discovers he's been betrayed and Morgana goes after Camelot on Merlin, a teen vamp causes trouble on BBC America's Being Human, and Emma is kidnapped on Once Upon a Time.

Alaric's the killer? Maybe? And maybe his ring has driven him crazy? And, oh yeah, Cassidy Freeman's Sage reunites with Damon in the present (for a threesome!), Elena wants to help Stefan, and Abby has challenges with her new role as a vampire.

It's cool twist time as Cassie and Adam discover that their little romantic encounter has activated a curse that may cost the life of one of the members of the circle. Meanwhile, stalker Eva goes after Faye, and Charles makes a move against Blackwell.

Touch (Fox) 9 p.m. - "1+1=3"

Series premiere! Kiefer Sutherland stars as Martin Bohm, the father of a troubled boy who puts together number patterns that affect people's lives like dominoes. In the second episode of the series (the first aired earlier this year), a pawnshop robbery kicks off a series of events that affect a flight attendant in New York, a magician in Moscow, an Indian man who wants to spread his father's ashes and a mobster in the Bronx.

Which Kate is real? That's the question Michael is faced with when he runs into Rex's ex-babysitter, who is very different in his dual realities. In one she's at a yacht party when there's a possible suicide, and in the other she's a suspect in a crime.

Misha Collins alert! While Lucifer drives Sam crazy in a mental hospital, Dean's attempts to save him lead to an old friend. Misha Collins returns, but is he Castiel or something else?
