Nathan Fillion proves once and for all he shoulda been Green Lantern

There are things that are great, and there are things that are great. And then there's Nathan Fillion being called to the aid of old friend—and fellow DC animated hero voice artist—Tim Daly, who can't stop being the Man of Steel.

Oh, this starts all "serious" with Fillion showing up at the behest of Daly's son, Sam, to help a guy who's lost touch with the world. And then it gets ... less serious. There is something so wonderfully reassuring about watching two grown men dressed in shoddy costumes playing like children.

And then when Smallville's former Lex Luthor Michael Rosenbaum shows up in his underwear? Not a bad way to start the day.

Apparently no one can make the Ryan Reynolds Green Lantern suit look good.
