Leaked images reveal weirdly cute, CGI Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

Some apparent promo art from the new Nickelodeon series Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles has leaked, and it definitely showcases an interesting take on the beloved heroes with a half shell.

The rebooted adventures of Raphael, Leonardo, Michelangelo and Donatello will feature CGI effects, and the images obtained by Bleeding Cool show off a weirdly cute, semi-anime spin on the iconic heroes.

The shots include every major character, and the new Shredder and Splinter look to be easily the coolest of the bunch. Plus, you have to admit, the new April is just adorable.
Nickelodeon has also recently revealed the new intro logo for the show via the official Facebook page, which actually looks pretty dang cool.

What do you think? Are you digging the new aesthetics?
