Heck, yeah! Supernatural casts Whedon-verse geek queen Felicia Day

We just love Supernatural, and we also love those Winchester brothers, Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) and their awesome Impala. You know what else we love? We love the Whedonverse roster of guest stars the show has had over the years, including fan favorites James Marsters, Charisma Carpenter and Amy Acker.

And now they've done it again by adding the queen of all geekdom: Felicia Day.

TV Guide via TV Line reports that the multi-talented Day, who created, writes and stars in the popular web series The Guild, will guest-star in an upcoming season-seven episode.

The April 27 episode is called "The Girl With the Dungeons and Dragons Tattoo" (isn't this a very cool title?), in reference to the bestselling Steig Larsson mystery novel The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo.

Day will play an amateur computer hacker who, executive producer Sera Gamble says, "unwittingly gets wrapped up in Sam and Dean's problems." She then adds, "It's a classic story of an everyday girl who does not want to be in a whistleblower position."

Felicia Day's Whedonverse street cred comes from having been in a lot of Joss Whedon projects, which includes starring in Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog and appearances on Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Dollhouse.

The red-headed actress also starred in Syfy's Red: Werewolf Hunter as a kick-ass modern version of Little Red Riding Hood, and made several return appearances on Eureka as Dr. Holly Marten.

Are you guys excited about seeing Felicia Day on the CW's Supernatural? How do you think her computer hacker character will interact with our favorite TV brothers? And, more importantly, where exactly on her do you think her D&D tattoo will be?
