Setting, cast for next season's American Horror Story revealed!

When American Horror Story creator Ryan Murphy let slip that the second season of the hit FX horror show would feature new characters and a whole new locale, fans went nuts wondering what shape the series would take next year. Now we know.

The series will be moving to a "horror institution" on the East Coast, which most are taking to mean an insane asylum or some other classic New England horror setting. The first season took place in a haunted house in California.

Murphy spilled the beans in an interview on the Bravo series Watch What Happens Live, and also confirmed that one of the best things about the first season—actress Jessica Lange—will be back in some capacity, though it's unknown what her role may be. Lange played the broken, conniving and utterly fantastic neighbor Constance, and really stole the show with every scene she was in.

The main cast from season one, Dylan McDermott, Connie Britton and Taissa Farmiga, will not return for the second go-round, Murphy added. The news doesn't come as much of a shock, considering *spoiler alert for season one finale* they all died at the end, though there had been rumblings they could come back as different characters in the new tale.
