Holy dwarves! There's ANOTHER Snow White movie getting made?

If you've been feeling a bit besieged by an overabundance of fairy-tale reboots featuring a certain "pure as the driven snow" heroine—what with Snow White and the Huntsman and Mirror Mirror coming to theaters, and Once Upon a Time on TV—get used to it, because Disney's cooking up another one.

Order of the Seven began as a sort of displaced version of Snow White called Snow and the Seven—a kung fu-esque story about a Western woman who joins forces with seven martial artists—but it seems to have strayed even further from its fairy-tale origins. Here's how The Hollywood Reporter is describing it:

In this iteration, the seven are a 19th century-set disparate band of international warriors belonging to a centuries-old order who have lost their way. They meet with an Englishwoman who is being chased by an ancient evil, and she proves to be the catalyst for their redemption. ... While the project is set in China, the warriors will be from locales near (the U.S.) and far (Russia), and each warrior will have a unique fighting style.

Once upon a time, Natalie Portman and Jet Li were going to star is this, back when it was Snow and the Seven, but now Hanna's Saoirse Ronan is negotiating to play Order of the Seven's Englishwoman, with rookie director Michael Gracey calling the shots.
