Wait, Joss Whedon has yet ANOTHER film in the works?

As part of what seems to be an increasingly urgent bid to become the hardest-working man in show business, Whedon is gearing up to kick out another post-Avengers flick. And he's tapped a Mad Men star for the lead in a supernatural-flavored romance.

Whedon seems hell-bent on carving out a niche for himself in movies, much the way he did in television: a smart, genre-savvy creator who can churn out lots of high-quality material rather quickly. (Let's not forget that, for one golden year, Whedon had Buffy, Angel and Firefly on TV all at the same time.)

So, even while prepping The Avengers for its May release, and nudging Cabin in the Woods to open the South by Southwest festival, and shooting Much Ado About Nothing in secret, Whedon wrote and will produce the supernatural romance In Your Eyes (which'll be directed by Brin Hill).

Starring Abigail Spenser, who just wrapped up Sam Raimi's Oz: The Great and Powerful, In Your Eyes is allegedly about two people who are preternaturally or supernaturally connected, despite being polar opposites. Vague, huh? Well, if we've learned anything, it's that the Whedon moves in mysterious ways.
