See Walking Dead's opening credits recut as an upbeat '80s sitcom

There are many words you could use describe AMC's The Walking Dead, but I don't think "heartwarming" would be among them. And yet this mashup using footage from the first part of Walking Dead's second season and the theme from Growing Pains is like a warm, potentially infectious hug.

Honestly, I didn't know there was so much smiling in The Walking Dead. Sweating, sure. Grimacing, even. But happiness?

Now all I can think of is how awesome Growing Pains would've been if the Seaver clan were all zombies. They already had such hollow looks in their eyes ...
