1st look at 3 stunning pages of Avengers #1 pencil art

Earlier this week, we showed you the cool puzzle-piece covers for Marvel Now's Avengers #1-3—and now you can gaze upon Jerome Opena's brilliant artwork for the fall premiere issue. November can't come quick enough!

Opena, the master hand behind these brash, stylish lines, worked on Uncanny X-Force and is teamed with Fantastic Four writer Jonathan Hickman and colorist Dean White.

The relaunch showcase, headed up by regulars Captain America, Black Widow, Hawkeye, Iron Man, Hulk and Thor, will be joined by the ranks of Spider-Man, Wolverine, the kick-happy master of kung fu Shang-Chi, and a sprinkling of lesser characters like Sunspot and Cannonball from the New Mutants, as well as Captain Marvel, Spider-Woman and Falcon.

Whew, that's one righteous roster!

Revel in these three tantalizing pages and mark your calendar ...
