Follow protocol or ELSE in creepy new Fringe S5 viral clip

We're coming into the home stretch before the final season of Fringe premieres on Friday, Sept. 28, and Fox wants to make sure we know what we're getting into with the Observer-ruled world of 2036. Luckily, we have another creepy Observer PSA to break it down for us.

The new viral clip focuses on the Observers' "Residency Policy," which dictates, essentially, how and where we as modern-day "natives" can live. Boy, this sounds like a fun place to be. Good thing we at least know the gang will be getting back together at some point.

Like the previous viral teaser we've seen, this one maintains the unsettling music and vibe, and gives the weird, bald baddies an air of power that only lends to the world-building of the beloved show's final season.

Check out the teaser below, and just hope you don't get scanned:

What do you think of the decision to jump into the future for the final season? Gutsy move, or too far-fetched?
