Wonder what happened to Walking Dead's [REDACTED]? Just hold on

After helping out Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) in the series premiere of AMC's The Walking Dead, a certain fan-favorite character dropped off the radar. But rumor has it he could be coming back soon.

In an interview with Digital Spy, Lennie James revealed he has been in talks with the producers of The Walking Dead to potentially return as the post-apocalyptic survivor Morgan Jones, who was traveling the mean streets with his son Duane:

"There have been a few back and forth conversations and they check up on me every now and then. I had a fantastic time working on the pilot with Andy Lincoln and especially Frank Darabont. He's somebody that I'd directorially always wanted to work with and I'm glad I got the opportunity ... There's a possibility I might go back. It just depends on timing-wise if I'm free. At least one of the times they contacted me about it, I was busy doing something else, which I think was actually [BBC series] Line of Duty."
Morgan has popped up a few times in the comic, so it'd be nice to see him return in the series at some point.

Sound off: Do you hope the father-son duo show up again in season three?
