Still unsure about John Carter? Here's 10 minutes that might sway you

Disney can read audience research as well as anyone, and since that tracking says John Carter is heading for certain doom unless audiences can be convinced to see the $250 million sci-fi adventure, it's showing off some of the goods.

To wit, here is a decent-sized chunk of the beginning of Andrew Stanton's John Carter, in which we meet our hero before he takes off to the red planet and we get a look at the film's framing device: a journal left to Carter's nephew, young Edgar Rice Burroughs.

The question is, if you were on the fence about John Carter, was this enough to push you off?
