Spartacus: Vengeance gets bloody EPIC in new behind-the-scenes video

We just lurrrve Spartacus. Maybe it has something to do with those epic, bloody fights, or those skimpy outfits that leave little to the imagination (also known as nudity), or even those good ol' Roman orgies (hey! you won't hear us complaining). But it also has a lot to do about the masterful, EPIC storytelling that has you glued to your TV screen week after week after week.

So we want more of the same in the upcoming Spartacus: Vengeance, right? Good news! because from the looks of it, we're definitely gonna get to see a whole. Lot. More.

The good people at Starz have released a pretty coolepic behind-the-scenes video that take us beyond the arena, so to speak (don't worry, we'll still be getting some arena action), and throws us into the heart of the slave rebellion ignited by Spartacus (Liam McIntyre replacing the late, great Andy Whitfield), and right to the white, shiny doors of Rome!

But from the looks of things, it ain't gonna be an easy ride for Sparty and his slave posse.

Go ahead and check out the colossal-ness that will be the second season of Spartacus!

(Before you bathe yourself in the bloody glory that is this behind-the-scenes video, one tiny piece of advice: Try to ignore the annoying movie-style voice-over.)

Yep. Epic. What do you think?

Spartacus: Vengeance returns on Starz Jan. 27, 2012.
