The new Blastr iPhone/iPad app is now LIVE!

Today we launched a new version of the Blastr app for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch with a bunch of new features we wanted to tell you about.

Commenting - Yes, it's finally here. You can now read and add comments to any Blastr article without leaving the app. Comments in the app are the same as on the site, and you can use your Facebook account to log in or leave comments anonymously.

Sharing - We've made it easy to share articles via Facebook, Twitter and email

Photos - Photos from articles can now be saved to your iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad's camera roll for emailing, posting or using as wallpaper or lock screen backgrounds.

Favorites - Articles can now be saved to a Favorites section for easy reading offline. This feature also makes it easier to follow the comments on an older article that may have worked its way down the list.

Download the new app here!

Android owners, we have not forgotten about you! All of the above upgrades will be coming to Android in the next few weeks, including added support for Android tablets. Thanks, as always, for making Blastr and our apps such a huge success.
