Is THIS our 1st non-PEZ look at Spider-Man's villainous Lizard?

We got our first ''look'' at actor Rhys Ifan's villainous Lizard from the upcoming The Amazing Spider-Man film yesterday courtesy of a PEZ dispenser, but we may now be looking at the full-length, genuine article in a new piece of concept art that just found its way online.

The brand-new image was released by the guys over at Spider-Media.

According to Bleeding Cool's Brendon Connelly, this image closely matches some early footage he's seen:

''This picture does match up very nicely with the Lizard as I've seen him in full CG, bursting out of a bathroom stall and terrorizing teenage girls,'' Connelly says. ''But it also matches up to the PEZ dispenser we saw yesterday and, really, it's short hop, skip and a jump with not much faith needed to extrapolate this painting from that little plastic face.''

If the concept art is genuine, it may tell us that one of Spidey's most iconic villains won't be wearing the classic white lab coat he's been associated with for so many decades. Or not. Heck, he may just end up losing it in order to fight Spidey naked. Who knows?

And now the burning question is this: With a few images of the Lizard now leaked online, how long do you think it'll take the studio and Marvel to release something more official for us to sink our teeth into?

The Amazing Spider-Man will spin its web in theaters on July 3, 2012.
