Immortals gets gut-wrenchingly gory in exciting new fight clip

We don't know about you, but we can't wait to see director Tarsem Singh's Greek epic film Immortals. And this newest clip, which shows a very gory and highly stylized battle sequence between the Olympian Gods led by Zeus (Luke Evans) and some beastly creatures, is making us wanna see it even more.

'Cause. It's. Completely. Made. Of. Win.

Before you all go ahead and have your minds blown away by the sheer awesomeness of this new clip, jog your memory a bit with the film's synopsis:

The brutal and bloodthirsty King Hyperion and his murderous Heraklion army rampage across Greece in search of the long lost Bow of Epirus. With the invincible Bow, the king will be able to overthrow the Gods of Olympus and become the undisputed master of his world. With ruthless efficiency, Hyperion and his legions destroy everything in their wake, and it seems nothing will stop the evil king's mission. As village after village is obliterated, a stonemason named Theseus vows to avenge his mother, who was killed in one of Hyperion's brutal raids. When Theseus meets the Sybelline Oracle, Phaedra, her disturbing visions of the young man's future convince her that he is the key to stopping the destruction. With her help, Theseus assembles a small band of followers and embraces his destiny in a final, desperate battle for the future of humanity.

Now for the clip:

Ahhh! Nothing like seeing buckets of flowing crimson blood, guts spilling all over your face (with bodies being neatly split in two), and having tons of gore coupled with some majorly cool fighting sequences in the morning, right? It's probably good to be a god. Except when you have a spike impaling you ...

Tarsem Singh's Immortals blasts onto theatres this Friday, Nov. 11. It stars Henry Cavill (Man of Steel), Mickey Rourke (Iron Man 2), Stephen Dorff (Blade) and Freida Pinto (Rise of the Planet of the Apes).

We'll be at the theater. Will you?
