Photographer turns Star Wars toys into unbelievably stunning art

We love Star Wars toys. We especially love playing with toys and making pew-pew noises and screaming when they fall over and die. Some people, however, have better plans for their toy collections.

Photographer Avanaut has turned his/her Star Wars toys into the subjects of his/her absolutely stunning photographs. With a clever use of lighting, these toys—many of them Lego—sometimes look as emotional as any human subject.

S/he's even created a sense of motion, thanks to effects with sand and what looks to be snow.
