Star Wars fans aren't the only ones who get to have fun with massive LEGO models. Take Battlestar Galactica fan and master LEGO builder Garry King, who spent two months on a replica of a Battlestar from the acclaimed BSG revival series so massive that Edward James Olmos could climb in and fly it.
King's "Battlestar Berzerk" (a ship seen briefly in the season four film-length premiere Razor) measures a whopping 73 inches (just over 6 feet) long, 14 inches tall and 24 inches wide. Though he doesn't say how many pieces it took to complete the ship, King does say it took him two months to build, and though he had to use some wood and steel for interior support, the LEGO portions alone weigh 54 pounds.
The most impressive thing about King's ship is the use of its size to show as much detail as possible, from the gun turrets right down to the guide lights at the entrance to the Viper hangar. With ships like this, there's no way the LEGO Cylons could ever win.
