9 photos from Lucasfilm's outrageous Star Wars Blu-ray PR stunts
If you're Lucasfilm and you want to promote the release of the Star Wars saga on Blu-ray, what do you do? The answer: whatever the hell you want. You're Lucasfilm. You have the budget to think big. Really, really big.
George Lucas' team of crack promoters has recently infiltrated the Japanese subway system, the BT Tower in London and various points in New York City to show the world that Star Wars is out on Blu-ray ... and that they have money to burn.
(We're not kidding. The Star Wars saga has earned $84 million after being available for less than one week.)
If Lucasfilm has to have our money, it's good to see that they've spent it as entertainingly as possible.
Check out these amusing photos.
