4 awesome items Star Trek: TOS stars took home from the set

If you could take any item from the set of Star Trek, either the original television show or the films, which would you have? That's the question recently posed to the surviving members of the cast.

StarTrek.com asked William Shatner (James T. Kirk), Leonard Nimoy (Spock), Nichelle Nichols (Nyota Uhura), George Takei (Hikaru Sulu) and Walter Koenig (Pavel Chekov), "What's your most cherished Star Trek keepsake?" Frankly, the answers aren't very surprising. Except for Shatner's. (You'll see.)

Sadly, DeForest Kelley (Leonard McCoy) and James Doohan (Montgomery Scott) passed away, so we don't know what, if any, memorabilia they took with them. Logically, Kelly would have kept a tricorder and Doohan would held on to a dilithium crystal.

Either that or a bottle of scotch.

Check it out.
