Resident Evil: Retribution: Who's in, who's out, and where

A couple weeks ago we learned some obvious casting news regarding Resident Evil: Retribution. Milla Jovovich was confirmed to reprise her role as franchise heroine Alice. On the flip side, however, it was announced that Jill Valentine would once again be M.I.A., and today we've discovered her replacement, as well as some interesting location details.

Does the name Ada Wong sound familiar to you? She's another character from the Resident Evil game series, and popped up in the second installment. She's a Chinese secret agent, and she's been chosen to fill the empty space that Jill Valentine's left behind.

Once again, it seems strange that the main protagonist in the game series (on which the films are "loosely based") can't get more than one movie under her belt. It's kind of a letdown. We liked Jill.

But, on a more positive note, Jovovich has been tweeting RE5 updates like crazy, and she recently revealed that she and the crew will be shooting a "huge action sequence" in Moscow. This has a lot of people confused, because some assumed that the next film would have a Tokyo backdrop.

What do you guys think of Valentine's replacement? Can you get on board with Ada?
