TV THIS WEEK: Falling Skies dawns, Game of Thrones ends and more!

It's a big week. As one highly anticipated series comes to an end (Game of Thrones) after its big spring run, another one begins (Steven Spielberg's Falling Skies), and they do it in the same time period on Sunday. We'll also see premieres of two additional new scripted series, BBC America's Outcasts and ABC Family's The Nine Lives of Chloe King.

Also, Magnus and Will give suburban living a try in Sanctuary, Scott gets another chance with Allison in Teen Wolf, ruby slippers pop up on Hollywood Treasure, there's a new ghost-hunting competition in Paranormal Challenge, Barry Bostwick goes all Captain Ahab in Syfy's movie 2010: Moby Dick, and Drop Dead Diva returns for a third season.

Monday, June 13

Sanctuary (Syfy) 10 p.m. - "Out of the Blue"

Magnus and Will find themselves living as suburban neighbors with different lives and careers than the Abnormal hunters we know they are. However, unsettling dreams disrupt their happy existence.

Teen Wolf (MTV) 10 p.m. - "Pack Mentality"

Scott's thrilled that he gets another chance with Allison, until it becomes a group date with Lydia and Jackson. Meanwhile, another animal attack puts Sheriff Stilinski on alert.

Tuesday, June 14

The Nine Lives of Chloe King (ABC Family) 9 p.m.

Series premiere! In this new ABC Family series, Chloe King dies on her 16th birthday and then comes back to life. It's only the beginning for the pretty teen, who discovers she's suddenly got special powers and that she's a descendant of an ancient race of protectors. But someone's after her, and they plan to kill her as many times as it takes. If you've been missing the Kyle XY of it all, this may be for you.

Wednesday, June 15

Hollywood Treasure (Syfy) 10 & 10:30 p.m. - "Demons and Spacesuits and Slippers, Oh My" and "The One That Got Away"

Joe is on the hunt for items from Hellboy, 2001: A Space Odyssey and actress Debbie Reynolds' private collection of props and costumes in "Demons and Spacesuits and Slippers, Oh My." Then an original poster from the 1933 version of The Invisible Man is featured, along with props from Batman Returns, Star Trek and Camelot, in "The One That Got Away."

On Syfy's Haunted Collector (9 p.m.), the team investigate Native American artifacts at a New Mexico bar and a hotel with a bloody past in "Burning Spirits/Ghosts of the West." Then, on the Science Channel's Through the Wormhole With Morgan Freeman (10 p.m.), the question "Is There an Edge to the Universe" is explored.

Known Universe (National Geographic) 9 p.m. - "Escaping Earth"

Delving into what it takes to escape Earth's gravity, and engineering in space.

Paranormal Challenge (Travel) 9 p.m. - "Rolling Hills Asylum"

Series premiere! In this new ghost-hunting series, two teams of amateur ghost hunters compete to see who can find the most paranormal evidence at some of the world's most haunted locations. First up, host Zak Bagans takes the teams to the Rolling Hills Asylum in East Bethany, N.Y.

Saturday, June 18

Outcasts (BBC America) 9 p.m. - "Episode 1"

Series premiere! In the future, as Earth has gotten to a point where it can barely support life, colonists have escaped to a planet called Carpathia and built the colony of Forthaven. After years of waiting, the colonists prepare for what might be the last transport from Earth. Outcasts stars Liam Cunningham, Hermione Norris, Amy Manson, Daniel Mays, Jamie Bamber, Eric Mabius and Ashley Walters.

2010: Moby Dick (Syfy) 9 p.m.

Saturday Night at the Movies! Barry Bostwick plays a modern Captain Ahab who goes after a massive whale via submarine. Xena's Renée O'Connor also stars.

Sunday, June 19

Drop Dead Diva (Lifetime) 9 p.m. - "Hit and Run"

Season-three premiere! Last season Grayson got hit by a car and thought Jane was Deb. As the third season premieres, Jane waits for Grayson to wake up from his coma, hoping he'll realize she's actually Deb. Meanwhile, Jane is assigned a case involving a hit and run and a celebrity bad boy. Paula Abdul, Wendy Williams and LeAnn Rimes guest-star.

Falling Skies (TNT) 9 p.m. - "Pilot"

Two-hour series premiere! After a catastrophic attack by aliens, a group of resistance fighters and civilians try to survive an enemy that's determined to wipe them out for unknown reasons. In the first episode, former professor Tom Mason (Noah Wylie) struggles with his new job as the second-in-command of the 2nd Mass, and with trying to be a father to his three boys, one of whom was captured by the aliens. The series comes from executive producer Steven Spielberg and also stars Moon Bloodgood and Will Patton.

Game of Thrones (HBO) 9 p.m. - "Fire and Blood"

Season-one finale! Tragic news spreads throughout the Seven Kingdoms, while Bran and Rickon share a prophetic dream. Meanwhile, Catelyn grills Jaime about her son's fall and Robb's destiny is changed. Are you going to miss Game of Thrones? If so, there's always season two to look forward to, since HBO's already renewed it.
