HBO has released the first full-length trailer—and a new poster—for the fourth season of True Blood. And with things going bad for the vampire community, who else but our favorite blond vampire, Eric Northman (Alexander Skarsgard), to go and try to win back the public?
"Ladies and gentlemen, I'm a taxpaying American and a small business owner in the great state of Louisiana. I also happen to be a vampire." That's just made of win.
Because in a post-Russell Edgington (the marvelous Denis O'Hare) world (aka after season three), things are really getting from bad to worse for the Vamps and the Bon Temps residents, what with all that anti-vamp sentiment rising up.
On top of it all (as you already know if you've been reading our recent True Blood posts), the arrival of powerful witches and warlocks in town will spell the arrival of a lot more trouble, and the proverbial $@&! will undoubtedly hit the fan for our gang. It just wouldn't be True Blood without a lot of trouble and at least a body or two, wouldn't it?
True Blood premieres on HBO June 26 at 9 p.m. Mark your calendars!
