Time Lords aren't the only ones who regenerate. Supervillains can get a second (and third, and fourth, and fifth) chance, too. And a photo leaked from the set of The Dark Knight Rises may reveal how one of Batman's biggest enemies gets near death yet lives to fight another day.
In the comics, Ra's al Ghul, the fanatical terrorist who was played by Liam Neeson in Batman Begins, has used green, glowing Lazarus Pits to bring himself back from the brink of death. (If you're healthy, though, you should stay away—the dip'll generally kill you.)
A photo taken during today's first official day of filming from the set in Jodhpur, India, apparently shows a "pool" of green that it's believed will be replaced by a CGI Lazarus Pit, especially since Josh Pence, who'll be portraying the young Ra's al Ghul in The Dark Knight Rises, has been spotted on the set.
Check out the pic below.
The Dark Knight Rises will hit theaters on July 20, 2012.
