Zack Snyder locks up Diane Lane for 3 hours to read Superman script

There have been stars who've cried, "How can I work under these conditions?" if their mocha lattes aren't perfectly frothed. But if anyone has a right to ask that question, it's Diane Lane. You see, she was locked in a room for three hours so she couldn't leave with the script for the upcoming Superman movie.

Lane, who will be playing Superman's adoptive mother Martha Kent, told E Online:

"I read the script under lock and key. ... I was locked in a room with the script and was only allowed three hours with it. I nailed it into my memory. I'm really excited. I'm really not allowed to talk much about it, I think, but it does cover the entire range of years, from infancy on."

We can't imagine that professional working actor Diane Lane would need such security. After all, she's not about to flog the script on the open market.

But now that we think about it, that would make an awesome movie.
