Wanna see the 1st five minutes of the time-skipping Source Code?

Well, then, you're in luck—because Yahoo has taken the first nugget of Moon director Duncan Jones' sci-fi thriller, starring Jake Gyllenhaal, and popped it online. Just for you!

Near as we can gather, from both this clip and the trailers, Gyllenhaal plays an Army captain improbably named Colter Stevens who is tasked with finding a terrorist who blows up a commuter train just outside of Chicago. To do so, he's granted the ability to live the last eight minutes of one of the travelers' lives—over and over again—and use those repetitive minutes to find the culprit. And, of course, fall in love and save the girl.

Not sure if this mini-preamble does anything to reinforce my desire to see Source Code, given that it adds little to what you get from the trailer. But I was going to see it anyway, given the sucker I was for Jones' Moon.

What about you?
