Dead Island trailer proves videogames (and zombies) CAN be art

The Walking Dead proved that zombies could be a hit on TV, but if we can trust the trailer for the upcoming videogame Dead Island, the next thing zombies might prove is that videogames can be art.

The "announcement trailer" for this first-person shooter set on a tropical resort overrun with zombies is so stunning that it's really more a three-minute mini-movie than just a teaser clip, which you'll see when you click below.

We have a hard time believing the game could possibly be as awesome as the trailer—but we can't wait for the chance to pick up an ax and find out!
