TV THIS WEEK: Supernatural, Smallville, Merlin, Chuck and more!

After mixing up the schedule at the last minute, the networks appear back on track as Supernatural's Sam and Dean hunt for missing virgins, Allison Mack returns to Smallville and Prince Arthur is indebted to the common man on Merlin.

Also, Team Bartowski takes on Volkoff on Chuck, there are two Human Targets on two nights, an assassin goes after Chess on The Cape, Sally learns how to be a ghost on Being Human, Anna tries to get the religious folk on her side on V, the GHI teams heads to Serbia on Ghost Hunters International, Penny gives Sheldon acting lessons on The Big Bang Theory, Elena has daddy issues on The Vampire Diaries, a scientist loses his bones on Fringe and nasty things happen in a cornfield in Syfy's movie Husk. Meanwhile, Primeval takes a week off and No Ordinary Family is still in reruns.

Monday, Jan. 31


Chuck (NBC) 8 p.m. - "Chuck Versus the Push Mix"

Things are starting to heat up on Chuck as Sarah tries to get Mama Bartowski (Linda Hamilton) out from under Volkoff's (Timothy Dalton) thumb, while Operation Bartowski attempt to vanquish Volkoff. Meanwhile, Casey's fate is determined and Awesome reaches new heights of anxiety when it comes to impending fatherhood.

Human Target (Fox) 8 p.m. - "Kill Bob"

Special Night! When a man is nearly killed in a drive-by shooting, Chance and the gang discover his wife is a Russian spy. Meanwhile, Ames has a secret she doesn't want Chance to know about.

The Cape (NBC) 9 p.m. - "Dice"

Chess prepares to deliver Palm City its fate while an assassin (Mena Suvari) targets him in an effort to avenge her father's death. Unfortunately, that leaves Vince tasked with the job of protecting the villain if he's ever going to get his life back.

Being Human (Syfy) 9 p.m. - "Some Thing to Watch Over Me"

Sally meets a fellow spirit who teaches her the ropes of being a ghost, while Josh gets to know the gang in the neighborhood watch and Aidan's past comes back to haunt him.

V (ABC) 9 p.m. - "Unholy Alliance"

When Jack and priests around the world denounce the Visitors, Anna visits the Vatican. Meanwhile, Erica hunts a former Mossad agent who's in charge of a violent faction of the Fifth Column.

Human Target (Fox) 9 p.m. - "The Trouble With Harry"

Unless Fox decides to pull this episode in favor of a second hour of American Idol again, you'll get a double dose of Human Target this week. In this episode, Tony Hale is back as inept private investigator Harry, who is involved with protecting the girlfriend of the owner of a rival security firm. Meanwhile, Ilsa goes on a difficult mission, and a case brings two members of the team closer together.

Ghost Hunters International (Syfy) 9 p.m. - "Army of the Dead: Serbia"

The GHI team investigates the Petrovaradin Fortress in Serbia.

In an effort to become a better teacher, Sheldon decides to take acting lessons from Penny.

Elena's biological dad, John Gilbert, is back, but is he still missing some fingers? Meanwhile, Tyler takes action when he discovers Caroline and the other vampires in Mystic Falls may have murdered his uncle. David Anders returns as John Gilbert.

Archer (FX) 10 p.m. - "A Going Concern"

When Malory loses all her money in a Ponzi scheme, she decides to sell ISIS to rival spy agency ODIN. While the team struggles to put the brakes on the sale, the chief of ODIN (voice by Jeffrey Tambor) tries to romance Malory.

Returns with new episodes! Yep, new episodes, but does Sam get his soul back? Luckily, Sam and Dean have missing virgins to keep them occupied, which somehow involves dragons and a quest for Dean where he must prove he's worthy to claim a dragon-slaying weapon.

Fringe (Fox) 9 p.m. - "Concentrate and Ask Again"

Want answers about the doomsday machine and Peter's sudden weaponization? Well, we'll likely have to wait while we take a trip back to the X-Files of it all when a scientist's bones disintegrate after he ingests a blue powder.

Merlin (Syfy) 10 p.m. - "Gwaine"

When Arthur and Merlin are outnumbered during a tavern brawl, an enigmatic character named Gwaine (Eoin Macken) comes to the rescue. When he's injured, they take him to Camelot to recover, and it isn't long before he's causing trouble.

In this Syfy movie, a weekend trip for a group of friends goes bad when crows force their car off the road into a creepy cornfield, and you just know it's not going to be a good thing.

Smooch (Hallmark) 9 p.m.

In this Hallmark movie, when an imaginative girl (Kiernan Shipka) kisses a frog, she believes he turns into a prince (Simon Kassianides) and plots to set him up with her widowed mom (Kellie Martin) by getting him hired as her new nanny. Directed by Ron Oliver.
