Liam Neeson returns as Qui-Gon Jinn for a 3-part Clone Wars arc

After years away from the Star Wars universe, Liam Neeson's coming back to his Phantom Menace Jedi knight—who choked on a lightsaber—for an arc on Cartoon Network's Clone Wars series.
Neeson will appear as a ghostly manifestation of the late Qui-Gon in a pair of Clone Wars episodes, on Jan. 28 and Feb. 11, for a three-part arc focusing on Anakin Skywalker's destiny as the one who would bring balance to the Force.
Said Neeson:
"These characters resonate...even after all these years. Growing up, my heroes were cowboys; they were strong and mysterious, and it seemed like they always rode off into the sunset. For kids today, Star Wars has that same kind of magic. I really wanted to be a part of that."
EW's also got a clip of Qui-Gon appearing to his former Padawan, Obi-Wan Kenobi, in what looks like a Force-crystal gift shop.
