Leonard Nimoy reveals William Bell will return to Fringe

Even though the Star Trek veteran had claimed that he was retiring from acting after playing the Vulcan ambassador and the Massive Dynamics founder for J.J. Abrams, it seems like the lure of sci-fi is just too hard for the septuagenarian to resist.

Taking to Twitter, as Nimoy is wont to do, he let it slip that his time as an universe-hopping genius might not be over:

It's welcome news for Fringe fans, as the show seems to be pulling out every stop it has to make it a must-watch on Friday nights.

(Can I also say how adorable it is that he signs each tweet with "LLAP," for live long and prosper?)
