How bizarre was the night Robocop popped up to save Pee-Wee Herman's life at the Oscars? So bizarre that even though I watched it live, the whole thing was so traumatic I somehow managed to wipe it from my memory.

It was way back in 1989, and Herman was about to present an award, when he was attacked, and ... oh, just go watch the thing yourself below. It's far too weird for words.
