Peter Parker finds his Flash Thompson: Chris Zylka (Who?)

Flash Thompson has been bullying Peter Parker since before Peter became Spider-Man. They even were introduced in the same comic-book issue—Amazing Fantasy #15. The Spider-Man reboot—and Peter's entire backstory—wouldn't be the same without him.

The good news is, the role of Flash has just been cast. And the part goes to ... Chris Zylka.

Chris who?

If you're unfamiliar with Zylka and his work, you're not alone. Zylka has been cast alongside far more recognizable actors, as The Wrap reports:

Zylka joins Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone in the Columbia movie, which co-stars Martin Sheen, Sally Field, Rhys Ifans, Irrfan Khan, Denis Leary, Campbell Scott, Julianne Nicholson and Annie Parisse.

Zylka's current credits include My Super Psycho Sweet 16, My Super Psycho Sweet 16 Part 2 and Untitled 3-D Shark Thriller (2011). But obviously he managed to convince casting directors that he was the right guy for the job of pushing around Peter Parker.

And if he isn't, well, there's always the next reboot. ...
