Ernie Hudson: If there's no Ghostbusters 3, blame Bill Murray

When we told you that Ghostbusters 3 was finally getting written by Dan Aykroyd and Harold Ramis, you responded with a mix of excitement and skepticism. After all, it's been talked about for years, with nothing to show for it. Now original star Ernie Hudson says that if the film never happens, it'll be Bill Murray's fault.

Hudson, who's set to reprise the role of Winston in the third chapter of the popular movie franchise, said he's not so sure the movie will happen, pointing a finger at Murray.

Hudson said that:

Dan and Harold are working on the script. If it happens, we will see, but Bill has been the holdup. His definition of good is a little bit different than everybody else's. So we will see. I would love to see it happen. I know the fans have been asking for it ... so hopefully.

But the actor certainly has no ill will toward his colleague, saying that:

Bill's a great guy, he's kind of quirky, but I love him. He's a guy who is very much into what he's feeling. I know he really cares about his work, which is probably why there hasn't been another Ghostbusters as of yet.

There you have it. Until they actually start shooting the film, we'll just have to wait and see and hope that it'll happen.

So—do you think Ghostbusters 3 will ever see the light of day?
