James Cameron: What to expect from that Avatar sex scene

When Avatar hits theaters again Aug. 27 for a limited run, it'll bring eight minutes of never-before-seen footage with it—including that highly anticipated Na'vi sex scene everybody's been talking about. James Cameron wants you to know what to expect—and what not to expect—when you don those 3-D glasses once more.

In a recent interview with MTV, the director said:

The alien kink scene? ... It's been restored, every last frame of it ... Seriously, all 20 seconds of it. And I would say that, just so we correctly manage people's expectations—it doesn't change our rating. At all. So I would call it more of an alien foreplay scene ... It's not like they're ripping their clothes off and going at it.

Disappointed? Relieved?
