Lost's ending wasn't universally loved. But then, you knew that, right? We might not have screamed at our TV screens during its final moments the way we did for The Sopranos, but not everyone was 100 percent happy, either. And the show's co-creator Damon Lindelof knows that very well, as we learned last night when he accepted the TV Critics Association Award Lost won for Best Drama Series.
Rather than just saying thanks when Lost shared the award with Breaking Bad, Lindelof decided to reveal some of the most awful things that were said about him after the series ended. Here are five of the NSFW tweets lobbed his way.
Hey, douche! Instead of backpacking in Europe or whatever the f*ck you're doing, how about you give me six years of my life back?
My very first tweet. I started this account just to let you know how disappointed I am in you.
Has anyone accused you of being an emotional terrorist yet? And research these words: closure and actual explanations.
You suck. Please don't ruin Star Trek by ending it in Klingon purgatory.
You're a dirty liar. You never knew, you made it all up, you betrayed us all. You betrayed me and I hope you rot, m*therf*cker.
That last tweet? Lindelof said it had been sent by J.J. Abrams.
We think he was joking.
