This is more wishful thinking than anything else, but one enterprising fan (get it? enterprising?) is pushing for a Star Trek: Titan miniseries that would star Jonathan Frakes and Marina Sirtis. It would follow the adventures of Frakes as captain of the U.S.S. Titan, a ship that was mentioned in Star Trek: Nemesis but never seen.
Although there is nothing officially happening around this that we know about, the fan personally asked Frakes about it at the recent Pheonix Comic-Con and reported that Frakes "must have said 'I WISH' about seven times." Now we're wishing, too.
Intriguingly, in Nemesis it was also mentioned that Wesley Crusher served under Riker on the Titan as an assistant chief engineer, so an adult Wil Wheaton could be part of the cast, too. With Wheaton's recent resurgence on TV in The Big Bang Theory and an upcoming episode of Eureka (not to mention his awesome role in The Guild), it would be good timing.
The adventures of the Titan already exist as a series of novels that take place in the Star Trek world after the events of Star Trek: Nemesis. They feature Cmdr. Deanna Troi as Riker's wife and the ship's chief diplomatic officer/counselor, and also Cmdr. Tuvok as a tactical officer.
Okay, seriously, Paramount—get on this.
