ABC's plan to avoid Lost spoilers: Show finale EVERYWHERE

Well, we know Lost's upcoming series finale is big, but this big? Countries around the world are planning to simulcast the airing of ABC's Lost two-and-a-half-hour series finale, "The End," at the same time as the U.S. West Coast broadcast, reported

The finale airs in the United States on Sunday, May 23, at 9/8c on ABC. The United Kingdom's Sky1 is planning on airing the finale at 5 a.m. local time, and then rebroadcasting the finale during its normal time there.

Other countries that are also planning to simulcast include Italy, Portugal, Canada, Spain, Israel and Turkey.

While the decision to simulcast was made to keep spoilers from leaking out and to stop illegal Internet downloads, it makes the finale an even bigger ... and now worldwide ... shared event. We just have got to say Lost is now officially the coolest show ever.
