Sigourney Weaver won't be just any vampire—she's the QUEEN

Sigourney Weaver, who fought a monster queen in Aliens, will now act as a vampire queen in Vamps, a romantic horror-comedy from Amy Heckerling, the writer-director behind Clueless and Look Who's Talking, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The modern-day story, written by Heckerling, focuses on beautiful young vampires (Alicia Silverstone and Krysten Ritter) who are living the good nightlife in New York until love enters the picture and each has to make a choice that will jeopardize her immortality.

Weaver will play Ciccerus, the bloodthirsty vampire who turned the two women into creatures of the night. Filming is expected to begin in late April.
