@NASA Shuttle crew awoke @4:14pET to theme song from "Firefly." The Ballad of Serenity, performed by Sonny Rhodes, was played for Bob Behnken.

The government is all about having a paper trail, and it seems that unstoppable whirlwind of bureaucracy extends all the way to the moon.
A decade or so ago, you pretty much had free rein to send a satellite or rover to the Red Planet and not have to worry about crashing into someone else’s gear. Now? NASA is having to put forth some effort to avoid Martian traffic jams.
It’s something just a handful of people will ever actually get to do, but now the rest of us average Earth dwellers can (kinda) get a chance to float around on the International Space Station.
