The year's OTHER Sherlock Holmes film has dinosaurs!

Have you seen this year's new film version of Sherlock Holmes?

No, not the big-budget feature film starring Robert Downey Jr.

We're talking about the crappy straight-to-DVD steampunk version whose biggest star is Torchwood's Gareth David-Lloyd (or maybe Star Trek: Enterprise's Dominic Keating. No, it's David-Lloyd) and that features, from what we can tell by the cover, a Tyrannosaurus rex battling a giant squid in front of Parliament. And is that a flying fire-breathing dragon?

And they say that Downey's Sherlock stretched Arthur Conan Doyle's franchise.

Keating apparently plays some kind of villain, dressed in steampunky copper S&M gear, as you can see from the pic below.

Besides that Tyrannosaurus, we'd say the biggest special effect is Gareth's fake mustache.

Here's the official description:

Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's famous detective faces the ultimate challenge when enormous monsters attack London.

Produced by: David Michael Latt, David Rimawi, Paul Bales Directed by: Rachel Goldenberg Written by: Paul Bales Cinematography by: Adam Silver Starring: Gareth David-Lloyd, Dominic Keating
