Seth Rogen to voice and mo-cap for alien comedy Paul

Seth Rogen will be doing both motion capture and voice work for his role as an alien in Superbad and Adventureland director Greg Mottola's upcoming SF/comedy Paul, according to Collider.

In what seems like a strange kind of stoner fantasy articulated in the wee hours at Comic-Con, the premise of Paul concerns two British comic book nerds, of course played by Spaced, Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz vets Simon Pegg and Nick Frost (who both also wrote the movie) who load up in their RV for a road trip across the United States, who encounter Rogen after his character has escaped from Area 51.

This will mark the first time that Pegg and Frost as a team haven't been directed in a feature by Edgar Wright. Paul had originally been slated for Pegg's director on Run Fatboy Run, the former Friends star David Schwimmer.

Paul also stars Sigourney Weaver (no stranger to xenomorphic encounters), Jason Bateman, Bill Hader, Kristen Wiig, and Jane Lynch.
