Linda Hamilton in talks to reprise Sarah Connor in Terminator Salvation has confirmed a story—first reported by SCI FI Wire in January—that Linda Hamilton is in talks to reprise the role of Sarah Connor in McG's upcoming Terminator Salvation.

"We are talking," Hamilton told the site. "I haven't read it yet. I don't know what direction they will go in."

MTV also confirms what we reported earlier: that Hamilton would be doing a voice-over for the film. Here's what McG told us: Hamilton would provide narration based on the tapes we see her recording for son John at the end of James Cameron's 1984 original Terminator to open and close the movie. "The tapes that she left for her son to be aware of what it was going to take to win the war, those are the tapes that are going to bring us in and out of the picture," he said.

"I would probably be very happy to loan my voice, depending on what the material is," Hamilton told "Wait and see. They're already writing it. We've been negotiating it."
