Exclusive! Sneak peek at Alien Trespass and its, um, rediscovery!

Lost sci-fi treasure or satirical faux homage? You decide!

Roadside Attractions has given SCI FI Wire an exclusive peek at its mockumentary promo video for the upcoming Alien Trespass, which opens April 3.

Here's how they describe the movie: "Set in 1957, Alien Trespass chronicles a fiery object from space that crashes into a mountaintop in the California desert, bringing the threat of disaster to Earth.

"Out of the flying saucer escapes a murderous creature—the Ghota, which is bent on destroying all life forms on the planet. A benevolent alien from the spaceship, Urp, inhabits the body of Ted Lewis (Eric McCormack)—a local astronomer—and with the help of Tammy (Jenni Baird), a waitress from the local diner, he sets out to save mankind."

The movie is directed by The X-Files veteran R.W. Goodwin and written by Steven Fisher from a story by James Swift and Steven Fisher.
