Analysis: Chuck's audience grew most; Daisies' lost most

Our friends at SyFyPortal have concluded that NBC's Chuck has grown its overnight audience by more than 10 percent from the beginning of the season, marking the largest positive jump of any genre network show in the most recent 10 active television weeks of the season, compared to the first 10.

According to the site's analysis, the show grew from an average 3.9 rating/6 share overnight audience in the first 10 weeks to a 4.3/7 in its most recent batch of episodes.

Meanwhile, CBS' Eleventh Hour, which is in the middle of its freshman season, has been murdering the competition. Not only does it lead among genre shows, but its 7.7/13 average rating is also actually 3 percent higher than the ratings it earned in the first 10 active weeks of the season. The 9.7/16 it earned for its 11th episode is the highest any genre show has garnered so far this season, and it's tracking more than 18 percent better than its closest competition, Lost, which averaged a 6.5/10 through the beginning of February.

The site added that four genre shows saw double-digit viewership drops, led by ABC's Pushing Daisies (25 percent), ABC's Life on Mars (23 percent), NBC's Knight Rider (19 percent) and NBC's Heroes (11 percent).
