Daisies' Kristin Chenoweth wins Emmy for canceled series

ABC's Pushing Daisies may be gone, but it's not forgotten: Kristin Chenoweth took home the Emmy for best supporting actress in a comedy in ceremonies in Los Angeles Sunday night, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

That Emmy was one of four that the show received this month, including three creative arts awards last weekend, the trade paper reported:

The irony wasn't lost on series creator Bryan Fuller.

"It's a tremendous honor to see Daisies win in so many categories—and, in the spirit of the show, win posthumously," he said. "Now can we please make the Pushing Daisies movie?"

Among other genre shows, Michael Emerson, who plays Ben on ABC's Lost, and Cherry Jones, the U.S. president on Fox's 24, each won a trophy for best supporting actor/actress in a drama series.
